Homecoming Weekend 2009
The weekend kicked off with the Athletic Hall of Fame Inductions Dinner on Friday night in Prentice Hall. Thsi year's inductees were Joshua Barcomb `98, Travis Solomon `80 and Arnold Schell `70. A highlight of the evening was when Travis Solomon's brother, Joe, accepted his award as many of Travis' lacrosse teammates and Coach Nevins were in attendance:

At the Golden Grads Reunion Luncheon, held in the Bouck Hall Ballroom, the class of 1959 was welcomed to Golden Grad status by other celebrating alumni in the classes of 1929, 1934, 1939, 1944, 1949, and 1954. Everyone enjoyed a celebratory champagne toast. Alumni had their class photos taken in between enjoying a buffet lunch and reminiscing. A display in honor of Elbridge Smith, who passed away in December 2008, was prepared by his daughter Priscilla Davis and his wife Edna Smith. We were honored to welcome class of 1929 grad Emma Bunzey Stevens and her three daughters. Even the Coby tiger made an appearance:
The classes of 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, and 2004 celebrated their reunions in the Dix-Draper-Pearson Quad. Claude Ray `56 served up his locally famous barbeque chicken with students in benefit of the Agricultural Engineering Scholarship Fund:
Saturday evening the Alumni, Emeriti, Faculty and Staff Awards Dinner was held in the Bouck Hall Ballroom. The event began with a reception in the Walton A. Brown Presidential Atrium.
